CASE STUDY THREE

This project was the full refurbishment of a beautiful country retreat in the heart of the Cotswolds. The house was completely stripped out. The new plant room which included two oil fired boilers, cold water booster pumps and cold-water storage tank and an unvented hot water vessel, was sited within an existing stone barn. From the plant room all services extended back into the main house via ground trenches using pre-insulated pipework of varying sizes. The ground floor heating was a combination of underfloor Heating and Column style radiators and the First and Second floors were all Column style radiators along with heated towel rails to all bathrooms. Several independently controlled zones were created with the capability of operating remotely via a smartphone app. Three new Bathrooms and two new cloakrooms were installed along with services to the new Kitchen and Utility rooms.
